By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or place an order.
1. About Gila
This website is operated by Gila. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the words "we," "us," and "our" refer to Gila. Our products are available exclusively through gila.co.za and our international store at houseofgila.com.
2. Eligibility
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Products
All Gila robes are made to order in our studio. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. Slight variations in color may occur due to differences in screen calibration and photography conditions.
As our collections use carefully selected seasonal fabrics sourced in limited quantities, certain designs or fabric options may become unavailable without prior notice. In the unlikely event that a fabric is no longer available after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or a full refund.
4. Pricing
All prices on our international store are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
5. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you have received an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. Should this occur, we will issue a full refund.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. We do not store your full card details. All payment processing is handled by secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways.
6. Made to Order and Lead Times
Each Gila robe is handcrafted to order in our studio. Please allow up to 3 business days for production before your order ships. Many orders are completed sooner depending on current demand. Orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. During periods of high demand or new collection launches, lead times may be extended. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.
7. Delivery
Orders ship internationally from South Africa. Please allow up to 20 business days for delivery to your area. For a more accurate estimate for your location, please reach out to us before placing your order.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking notification by email. Once an order has shipped, delivery timelines are managed by the relevant courier and are outside of our direct control. Gila is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs clearance, or events outside of our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply in their country.
8. Returns and Exchanges
As each Gila robe is made to order, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind. Size exchanges may be requested within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined in our Returns and Exchanges Policy.
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will repair or replace the item at no cost to you. Full details are set out in our Returns and Exchanges Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, product designs, embroidery patterns, and brand names, is the intellectual property of Gila and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
10. Personal Information and Privacy
Gila is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect personal information necessary to process your order and provide our services, including your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and payment details.
Your personal information is collected and processed for the following purposes: processing and fulfilling your order, communicating with you about your order, sending marketing communications where you have opted in, and complying with legal obligations.
